Love the peel, it makes it so much easier to move the bread to the oven!

First try and let's say what a fine piece of equipment. The steel is exactly what a home oven needs. We'll be making pizza dough recipe next.

So far so good. I was disappointed of the feel of the wood (dry feeling), but I'm thinking it helps with the dough not sticking. Was thinking it would look and feel like a regular wood chopping board, but I understand it's a peel for a reason. My first pizza almost didn't get on the steel but my second one I did better. Takes some practice! I just wish I could cut my pizza on the board but I understand it's only for transferring the pizza. I do think it's a bit pricey but since it's made here in the US it's worth it. Now I just need to practice more. Can't wait for my next pizza.

Great look!

Perfectly sized, solid piece of wooden board. Excited to use as a pizza paddle. Will be a dedicated charcuterie board vessel also.

Versatile, beautiful board. It’s perfect.

A must have if you purchased the Steel Plus. This peel allows the dough to slide into the oven evenly without any issues. The peel is light weight but incredibly strong. We made a HUGE 750g pie, and it came off the board with ease. "Back of the peel, to the back of the Steel"... words to live by. Andris, this needs to be your next T-Shirt! On the front "Back of Peel"... on the back "to the back of Steel". I'd buy one for sure...!
My only negative (maybe for future consideration) the peel needs a handle. The oven is at 500 degrees, so your hands get close to the heat. My other peel has a handle and my kids use it. I wouldn't let them use the Peel Plus. It's hard for them to grip and be that close to the oven. May be there could be an accessory we could buy to give it a handle? Snap on, Snap off? Just a thought.
Overall an excellent item.
