I thought I did not need the container. That is, until I used one of my own and the lid popped off during the night. The dough developed a hard crust on top so I had to start again. I bought the baking steel dough container and it was great. Lid stayed on and I used one container from start to finish. Would highly recommend.
The dough container is a perfect size for mixing and storing dough. I look forward to using it for pizza and all kinds of baking projects.
Loving this dough container! It’s a great size, fits well in the refrigerator and is also really handy for mixing the dough in! (I had purchased some other dough containers awhile back from a different site. This shape is so much more convenient and versatile.) If you sign up for some of the baking steel zoom classes you’ll see it in action. Totally worth the reasonable cost and it shipped quickly.
This container is the perfect size for making dough. Only One container from mixing the ingredients to the finial rise. Makes clean up a breeze. It is not too big easy to store. Very happy with my purchase.

Love it! I bought it with the companion Dry Kit which was enough yeast, salt and organic flour measured out to created 4 12" pizzas. I LOVE that it's wide and flat, so it's easier to portion out with a bench scraper directly from the container. I was also impressed with the Dry Kit, delicious dough with great spring! Used half for pizzas and the other for a calzone!
