Rösti Potatoes have been around forever. A classic Swiss-German side dish, Potatoes Rösti have morphed into the modern American eateries as delicious Potato Pancakes. We like to keep it classic. Fry in butter, beautifully shredded/grated potatoes and crisp them up on our secret weapon, the Baking Steel Griddle.
And to make our potato pancake even better, drop an egg on it. Better than the original pancake version.

- 2 ea Russet Potatoes, peeled and grated
- 4 oz butter, melted
- Salt and pepper
Heat Baking Steel Griddle to medium heat for 7-8 minutes.
Peel and grate potatoes.
Dump half of the butter onto griddle and place shredded potatoes onto and flatten to an even layer forming a round disc. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes or so.
Flip and pour remaining butter on top. Cook for additional 3 minutes until perfectly browned and crisp. Remove and serve with you favorite sides. We love a fried egg on top!
