We had a bag before this one. It was cool, and it worked, but it only fit three of our steels: the Original, the MC Edition and the Mini.
That was fine until it wasn't. We kept making steels, and none of the new ones fit. Every time somebody asked me what to carry their Pro or their Plus in, I didn't have an answer. That bugged me for a long time.
The easy fix would have been a bag for every steel. I didn't want that. Nobody wants to figure out which bag they need, and I didn't want to make five of something when one would do.
So we designed for the extremes. We made it as wide as our widest steel, and then made the flap adjustable so it folds over whatever length you put in it. The Plus is our longest at 20 inches, so that set the top end. The strap adjusts from there. Put an Original in it and it cinches down. Put a Plus in it and it opens up. One bag, every steel.
Your peel goes in with it. Steel first, peel on top, flap folds over both. Every steel fits. Every peel fits. Just not all at once.
The old bag is gone. This is the only one we make now.
It has a shoulder strap, which matters more than it sounds. When you've got a pizza away game, somebody invites you over to make pizza (hint, hint), you're lugging a 20 pound slab of steel across town. The Carry All makes that a lot easier. It also keeps the dust off between bakes and keeps the steel from scratching up a counter or a shelf.
