Cinnamon French Toast Sticks with a Blast of Blueberry
- Dried out or stale bread, preferably a loaf so you can cut out big sticks
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Big spoon of cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
Heat up your Baking Steel Mini on your burner for about 10 minutes at medium heat.
Grab a stick of butter and melt on top of the Mini. Next take your bread and submerge it into the egg batter. Let the bread absorb a lot of the mixture. Toss soaked bread onto your Mini and repeat. Cook for about 2 minutes per side, flip and repeat. Remove.
For the Blueberry Compote. Pour your blueberries into a sauce pan with a tablespoon of sugar. Blast the heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until the blueberries explode...Place blueberry mixture on top of your french toast..
